Mini Dresden Neighborhood
Create a neighborhood with the pattern Dresden Neighborhood, plus the Dresden Plate
(18-degree) ruler, and your imagination.
Choose your fabrics, anything goes--- Christmas, Halloween, seasonal or playful.
Class Supplies:
Pattern and ruler – available from Thread in Hand
1 yd Heat n Bond
Your favorite scissors and regular sewing supplies,
Sewing machine in good working order, I used one with decorative stitches.
Fabrics for 20 houses, multiple colors, the more the merrier.
Thread, either blending or as many colors as you like. (I used more than a few).
Scraps for windows using one or more colors.
Scraps for doors black or colors
HOMEWORK: before class please
Cut 20 house pieces using dresden ruler full size, 8 inches.
Background fabric 25 inches square.
OPTIONAL: sandwich top with backing and batting (quilt as you go). I chose this method.
